Currently when you're picking your race, it only gives a short blurb about what their deal is. The suggestion is that clicking on a certain picture, or button would open up additional information pages at the user's leisure. Things like the detailed pages about the nation specific ships, a look at the map, and perhaps the nation specific song in the background would all be fun to browse through as a new player weighs which kind of character the player wants to create.

I always like to run through the manual of a game, and read about the classes, and what not, and look through the pretty pictures. You sort of miss that experience in this game, because it can be dealt with exclusively through the interwebs.

this seems like a real low priority item, but if it means so much to you mynt, why dont you do the devs a favor and write it yourself :D

In reality what race you start as has little to do with the way your character ends up.

However, what the Devs are working on is how a character begins, or in other words, grabbing the attention of new players. Doing that, at least at this moment, is a top priority item, even if this isn't the best way to do so.
