If this has been covered before then please forgive me. When I read the thread post about allowing people to become Unaligned, it seemed that there were very few positive reasons to become Unaligned (aside from the shear fact that you are Unaligned). I think one possible bonus would be that Unaligned people would be able to purchase "stolen" faction-specific ships at absorbent costs at certain Corvus stations. The price would be very large (say, 2-5x the normal price of the ship), but repair might be the same as the actual value of the ship.

These "stolen" ships would be recognizable as stolen (say, a stolen X1 might have a specific insignia or model number)... and being seen in a stolen ship in the a system controlled by the faction of the ship's origin would result in special forces being sent to destroy the stolen ship.

Having access to these ships (despite the cost) without needing the standing might prove to be a good incentive to become Unaligned.

When I think of Unaligned, I think of Hive. That, or Han Solo. When I think of Corvus, I think of... Corvus. There doesn't need to be a bonus to Unaligned. You're not a part of anything. That'd be awesome.
