Something like those things that seekers use would be cool.
A rocket with extremely short range that emits anti damage when it explodes. It'd be like flying a repair missile!
No idea if rockets can made to trigger on friendlies though.. so it might not be as simple to add as it sounds...

A fair point, however, no, the weapons, including energy chainfire weapons, are set to leave at least 1 energy point behind after each shot.
This system was created because of this effect so that the mines do not explode in combat.

OK, here's my design: Repair Cannon, based on Gauss Cannon
Small port weapon, repairs 1500-5000 per shot, ammo based on battery charge, weight of 2000, energy drain of 60 per shot, excellent auto-targeting. It would be nice to make these available to those that have repaired 100+ needy vessels, but I guess that would mean tracking PRs as well as PKs. Any reason why not?
