Trial Feedback - new player suggestion
Hi All. Just joined after completing the trial period. I have been keeping an eye on this game for a while and finally decided to get in and have a go. Great fun so far. Congrats to all the devs on their hard work and the other players for helping to make the game fun.
Just a quick suggestion in that I was surprised when the trial finished that I didn't receive a follow up email asking how it went, what to do if you want to subscribe, list of resources/community info for prospective players to look through etc.
Not much of a suggestion, but it stood out to me as something that could provide some feedback targeting new players/expectations of new people.
Anyway, I will try to post better suggestions after I actually have some idea of what I am doing! See you all in game....

Hey, that's a really cool idea. Good call.
(Only for people who opt-in of course)

Yeah, not a bad idea. I don't think you'd really need to worry about opting in zam, the majority of people don't get turned off by one follow up email. It's the unsolicited newsletters/sales pitches, etc....
Yes, I agree. I don't think it is too much to ask for some feedback if you are getting a free 8 hours of game time. It might lead to some good feedback from new users over time and with some correlation.
You could even make it sound like a 'thank you' email for trying out the game, and a chance to have a say in what would make it better.

twould be nice it there was a checkbox when you register that asks if you would like to feedback to help game development, right beside the newsletter one.
