With Plasma Devastators and Annihilators causing damage upwards of 1450, I feel that we should consider raising the mega posi specs a bit, to make it a fair game.

Its not really that important. Although another reward for Hive Queen Hunter III would be welcome.

Sometimes it is hard to deduce the usefulness of an item from the numbers. Mega-posis are really handy as is -- not that I would complain if there was a better one. *shrugs*

I think it's a good reason to keep going after queens once you get the Hunter 1

Yea, I wouldn't mind having a better energy weapon in the Large port.

The MegaPosi's damage is broken enough already. Consider that it's worth two Neutron Blasters. Now consider that a Devastator is worth 1.4 Gauss Cannons.

A faster, heavier, gun might be appropriate. I use the Gatling Turret on a Prom because it's so tricky to hit Itani ships. It's heavy, weak, it's inefficient, but it's forgiving. By the same note, I would gladly load a heavy, weak, inefficient blaster if it was fast enough to nail those pesky IBG's.
