asteroid density
certian areas of space have a higher graviational pull...ie, areas with large stars, black holes and such. so I propose varied density roids.
the idea is pretty simple in some areas roids would be denser, not larger but denser. when a miner mines these roids they would get for example 240cu...380cu...460cu...etc...etc...depending on the density of the roid...(assuming they are mining in a moth.)
with varied density roids, roids would be something worth defending and give something new for miners/guilds to do.

I was along the lines of thinking that when you mine a dense asteroid, you get a large amount of mass within 1 cu. The denser the asteroid the more mass you get. Kinda like how one half teaspon of a neutron star could weigh billions of pounds here on Earth. Eventually that mining behemoth will become so heavy that you'd need the TPG Constellation to tow you back to a station....
Okay, I'm exaggerating about the massive behemoth. :)

yep...thats the basics. it would give miners something to actually fight for! some roid boiler comes along and a miner catches them, its a fight.
