Guild Specific Ships/Weapons

In the upcoming era of guild owned stations, I was wondering what the chances of Guild Specific Weapons or ships are. To purchase these ships or weapons you either need to be in the guild or have the council/commander/Luitenents permission to buy them.

These custom ships should be custom variants of standard ships (the Cent mkII, not the IBG Cent). To get your guild a custom ship the guild must pay an extremely large sum of money, probably even more than a capship, and the amount goes up with the more advanced ship you buy. Once you buy a model you can have one stat for the ship changed. For instance there could be a [CLM] vulture which takes the stats from a Vulture mkIII but has 300-600 more armor. Or [TGFT] could have a Moth which takes the XC stats but puts 1 large port on it. Something along those lines. However the augmentations would be preset, and augmentations for an extra weapon port would be MUCH more expensive than an armor increase.

Custom weapons would run something similar to Ships, but would be cheaper.

I know there would be balance issues to be worked out, but otherwise what are the thoughts on this proposal?

Yes.

Most likely with a large number of ores/trading goods for each ship/modification

A cheap get it in the game now alternative would be to just rename the ship with a custom tag the guild decides, and leave all the stats the same. Appliable to any ship for a nice fee, that way each guild can look cool for now, and the balance stuff can be worked out later safely.

whole idea sounds good but tram said it well just a simple rename at the moment would make some people happy at least
