Low priority, but it would be nice if we ever heard back on the status of our bugs that we report.

A simple email generated to the originator by the bug tracking software upon close (or throwing away) would be perfect.

I think that when Trac is opened up to the playerbase (or at least made viewable) this sort of thing will be more likely to happen.

Heh, except that's been supposed to have been coming for the last 9 months (plus or minus)....

In the meantime, a person is always left wondering what's going on with the bug, unless they post it in the forums as well and they get a reply there.
