Pleeeease? If my truck can do 4x4 on the fly, I'm pretty sure my futuristic space fighter can change groupings on the fly....

I totally agree, I've thought of this idea before but never posted it. It does make sense a fighter would be able to alter it's weapons configurations in flight to maximize lethality.

Agreed. No experience is more frustrating in game than having to go back to fix my cfire settings.

Apparently you aren't getting station-camped enough.

ingoguy15: There is a difference between cfire settings and your weapon groupings: the plugin, cfire, can be tweaked in space by typing /cfire in a chat line. The weapon groups themselves, however, are only changeable in the station.

Being able to change them on the fly will be immensely helpful.
