just a simple idea. on those rare times when you need to explode you just type /explode and the timer starts. I was thinking it would be cool if there was a way to control the timer...

it'd be great to have as a last resort in BS and some other situations.

You can control the timer, with about just as much precision as you propose. Type in the line, wait 27 seconds and hit enter. You can also do a little bind including a wait command. No need to make a standalone command for this, in my opinion.
