Built in turbo lock with functionality similar to Eldrad's alias/bind. (http://www.vo-wiki.com/wiki/Turbo_lock_bind)

So many newbs ask if they have to hold down Tab all the time. Telling them to install a bind is a bit much to load a newb with... but it's an obvious need as no-one to my knowledge flies without turbo lock.

The reason I am re-suggesting at this time (I'm sure it's been suggested a million times.) is that a lot of player suggestions/contributions seem to be making it into production right now, and this seems to be a small thing that would make a big difference. (To the newb experience mostly, since "vets" have the bind and/or create their own alias/binds.)

i think it should be an option in the keyboard controls :)

It should also be a different key. I know I use one key as the standard Turbo, and one with a lock, and some less that trivial for a newb bind work to make them operate together well.

If you look at Eldrad's alias/bind, you will see that it is quite possible to set them as separate keys.

Most do.

Turbo Lock?

I have heard mention of this in 100 several times but umm is there a point to it? :S

Point is you don't have to keep turbo key pushed all the time.
Just push it once to turn it on and it'll stay on.
