Destroy The Capital Ship
Two teams, either Itani versus Serco (like BS) or two seperate groups that can compose of anyone. Each team has a capital ship at opposite sides of a sector with a certain distance in between them.
These capital ships are invulnerable to normal weapons and have a few turrets on them that are only manually controlled and do not fire by themselves at all.
A player needs to dock with the capital ship and they'll be given a 'bomb'. The objective is to take this bomb and dock with the enemies capital ship to plant the bomb on the ship. The player then has a limited time undock before the bomb detonates killing all the players who were inside and doing some damage to the capital ship. Perhaps damaging a quarter of its health? When this happens, the team who successfully planted the bomb must wait approximately 20 seconds before the next bomb can be picked up and planted.
Each time a capital ship has a bomb go off inside of it, it is damaged and thus if each bomb does 1/4 damage to the capital ships health it'll take 4 successful detonations of the bomb to destroy the capital ship.
The first team to do this wins.
--Other Ponderings
Instead of the player getting the bomb through docking, perhaps it could spawn outside of the capship somewhere? The bomb could also be 'jettisoned' to be picked up by other players on the same team. This could create sport like tactics where a player can jet the bomb and a player already going at a high speed can go over it and head for the capital ship while the other team is wondering where it went. Perhaps there could be a timed message telling each team who has the bomb?
Also, perhaps the bomb could be 'defused'. For each player there could be a certain amount of time taken off for how long defusing the bomb will take. For example if the bomb takes 20 seconds to detonate and there are 0 players in the ship, there will be no defusing taking place. If there is 1 player it might take .5 seconds off the time to defuse per second? 2 players could take 1 second off the max defusing time per second? Values need to be tweaked of course.

You can't dock on an enemy cappy.
but who can't dock with Corvus?
This sounds fun, but I imagine it would take a lot of work to put together as many of the elements involved are not part of VO as it stands now (IE, docking with enemy capships, a bomb, defusing) so I can't see the devs putting it in place any time soon. Good idea though.
Revamp of the original CTF... 2 to 3 hacs or the like in sector x and you que up to take it. mission begins when y # of players accept the mission. once there theres a 5min countdown to start. once its started you fly out in your ship grab the package and take it back to your ship to power up its avalon launchers. After so many captures your capship launches a spread that will "instagib" the enemy capship. Another idea to add would be that for the duration of the mission your respawn would be in your capship.
