Ban pirates from the nation only channel! (or people with negative own faction)
Like the title says, as a Serco, with -1000 faction, I find it quite rude that I can still see the banter on channel 11. I'm not asking for a seperate *pirate* channel or nothing, but people with negative own faction -601 or more should not be able to see nation chat.
Ermm, I think thats it, oh yah, and I should be grey already, all three nations hate me, and most the subfactions too! So errm, yah. I'd be good at testing it if nothing else!

Does anyone actually use the nation channels for reasons other than gathering member for nation war?
Maybe they do, specially them UiT folk.
I know there's a way to set a flag that allows/disallows a player to see text on a given channel. For example, there was -- might still be, I dunno! -- a channel that the devs could use to interact with Deliverator, way up in the 800ks or something. Non-devs wouldn't be able to see the response, so perhaps a flag that just turns off the ability for a character to see chat from 11 even if they're joined to it?
That, or we could re-implement nation chat as it was just before beta in the summer of '04, and make it so that it can't be used when you're using a character with hated/KOS native standing.

Shadoen: I've used it a couple of times for CTC. Not much though. However, when there's consistently hundreds of users online, it may become more useful.

I agree with the -601 native to exclude from nation channel.
I do ask that all excludes then share that channel between them, as a group.

I've used it occasionally in my Serco newb griefing runs.
