Billing
This may sound crazy but
Have u ever considered changing the Billing to either
A one time payment or
Free gameplay with optional premium.
I can guarantee that you would get alot more players..
All games on the internet do it and i would be playing this game if it werent for the monthly pay.. You have hardely any time in the tutorial to discover the game, discover what you like about it, what will keep you here.
This game calls out ot me but it hasnt attracted me with anything special yet and my tutorial i believe is over.
Take a lesson from games such as:
Anarchy online.
Any Gpotato Based game.
Almost any game on the internet.
People wont come unless theres more to come for.

Pardon me but, yes it sounds both crazy and sane. VO first off is still pre mass advertising, free gameplay is called for all the time around here but with the 8 hour trial there is enough time to gain multiple license levels and get a good feel for the game. If you feel you need more time well, you can always delete your last account and make another for the time being. I do recommend if you do return find a mentor to get you into the more diverse areas of the game than you normally would find on your own in 8 hours. VO is not like any of those other games and if you want free game time go buy a full copy, yes they sell them and then use the special code located with the game. Please be aware the the developers here are working very hard to get everything done and there's only four of them.
On a personal note, eight hours is long enough to dabble in every part of the game, seriously you can go around the whole galaxy in around 30 minutes. if you spent your whole trial sitting in a station calling for help and not taking the basic tutorials... well don't be surprised if you didn't get help right away. The community here is very unique as are the devs you can ask for help and get a response anywhere and from anyone trader, fighter, hiver, or pirate etc. and the devs listen and take suggestions they won't always use them but they listen and many user suggestions have shown up. Now before you go and nitpick VO to pieces try it again and take the previous to heart. Oh and search for all the other posts located herein that complain of various other "deficiencies" Happy Hunting.
