Multiple Missions
Currently, pilots can only accept one mission at a time.
Now, I know that we've all been in station, preparing to make either a cargo or escort run to a nearby system, and seen 3 missions we'd love to combine, (all going to the same system, not nessicarily the same sector) and had to make the tough choice of which one to take.
I think that pilots should be able to accept multiple, non-training missions at a time. This would allow a pilot, say going from Sol II, to Pyronis, onto Helios to take convoy escort missions to Pyronis D-12 and D-13, then another to Helios J-12 along with a cargo load of Purified Water on a mission delivery to Helios J-12 as well.
This would allow traders and even combat pilots to rapidly increase their wealth, and license level, and certain limits could be enforced, such as limited numbers of missions (say max of 8 missions at a time) and only certain types of missions could be doubled up on. For example you couldn't accept both Basic Combat Training and Advanced Combat Training at the same time, go out and shoot up Hive Bots and get two bonuses for one kill.
I think this would make more sense since operating a starcruiser only half full of cargo makes little sense to the economics of the game, and it would make trading a little less tedious than it presently is.
The only problem I can foresee with this is the need for convoys to follow the escorts flight path, requiring that the pilot, before leaving the station, decides their flight route, and the convoys would follow it, as opposed to splitting off and attempting to follow flight paths individually to each of their destinations. Im not sure if this kind of script exists already (I believe it does based on the escort missions I've run) but this is the only piece of real code I can see needing to be in place.
