GET RID OF THE AERNA SEEKERS
Aerna Seekers make any player-held invasion absolutely impossible. That makes any war over said territories impossible. And well, these are things id like to do.
Like if a guild simply conquered Bestheshee D-2. Sure, they'd have to fight a couple of vults and so on, but if they were enough, good and organized they could pull it off. And thus, begining a simple "war" with people trying to get their wormhole back.
However, no matter just how many you are or how organized or how many repair guns they bring, the damn AERNA SEEKERS make this absolutely impossible.
In simple, the Aerna Seekers make the game dramatically LESS fun.

I've not found aerna seekers to be all that bothersome, their not too difficult to hit, all you need to do is backup and wait for them to get 120-60 meters away from you and fire off a few rounds. Your best off making sure your first shot is on target, once you start spreying they back off fast.
well without seekers, pirates and assholes could easily go and kill noobs like theres no tomorrow. and i think that would make the game even less fun than with them. and besides, theres no aernas at the front lines, which is where all the real fighting happens.
I would say that they make player-held invasions not so much impossible as temporary. I'm not sure how the strike force mechanics work, but I think they've been toned down recently.
i think only systems that border the capitol system and the capitol system should have monitored space and wormholes that would make a good noob training area before they can slap decent guns on there ships and head around to grey

Without Aerna seekers, a strikeforce is tottaly useless, you can litterally just strafe in a circle, and the dumb vults wont be able to land a single shot, plus, like LNH stated, its easy enough to take them out these days...
I don't consider Aerna seekers easy to kill (as LNH said), I would disagree; However it is possible to kill them with a little practice, flares for example seem quite effective. Aernas are easy to evade though, even in a slow ship.
Perhaps Aernas have been toned down, I ought to check it out.
Anyway I don't think you should get rid of Aerna Seekers. You need them to supplement strike forces, as part of an integrated defense (as yoda said).
