Teleporting Injuries

I'm flattered you think so highly of me.

Egos aside, wouldn't it make sense for ships to enter the next sector the moment the player has regained control? Am I missing something here?

It seems to me that the game was designed with players being vulnerable after each warp, and if the idea of this thread is to remove that vulnerability, wouldn't it just be simpler to take things out instead of trying to patch it up with even more fixes?

Well SuperMegaMynt, were you here during the beta times? If you were you would clearly know that during the warp time, you did not get hurt! Also the game was not specifically designed around being destroyed/injured by another player/npc during the wormhole. Now you tell me this here Mr. SuperMegaMynt, wouldn't it just be simpler to redo something you already did, or find a specific aspect of a game, and remove it. You decide.

Got this from my favorite online dictionary, http://wordnet.princeton.edu/

simple (having few parts; not complex or complicated or involved)

It obviously would be simpler to remove the 'sitting duck delay'. We know that; I was speaking figuratively. My point was that a simpler game design might be desirable, especially as presented to the player. Right now the scene change between sectors is rather choppy, and after awhile that picture of the grid lined planet starts to give me a headache. It's my personal observation that it would be a relief if the whole deal were reworked to be as smooth as the rest of the game mechanics.

Well as you can see, we have different view points, but I personally believe it would be easier to do something already done then to add/remove something, although that is not my place, so lets leave this up to the developers to decide.
