Pimp my ride VO

i might have already suggested this but i couldn't find it while searching, soo here it is:
I was thinking that maybe we could give the ships custom paint jobs, or get certain logos that we could put together for different combinations, i.e. black and red background, words "SERCO." like you could have a type box and you could put whatever in there, and there is a list of colors and symbols and logos. or you could design your own logo, then have a little thing that shows wer it would be on your ship. you could also just have more than one customizable color. i just want a little more individualization.

That would be a great idea.
My only concern is that custom logo thing. If everyone could create his own logos it would require this logo to be sent to all the other clients, since textures of course are client-side. This would pretty quickly lead into a small chaos.
So maybe only a collection of "prefab-logos" the player can choose among or under the limitation that only guild commanders can create custom logos.

Thumbs up for the idea, would be great to see it =)

Textures are client-side, but colors don't have to be. If there were a custom logo designer in-game, then textures wouldn't have to be sent to every client. But I like the idea of just skipping custom logos and going with premade stuff. But keep in mind, this is the kind of implementation with very looooow priority.

Yeah, try to come up with other ideas on how to promote individual identities.
