EDIT: NOT TO BE USED ON VO FORUMS, BUT ANYWHERE ELSE! /EDIT.

I recently had the idea that it would be wonderful to have automatically generated images containing character information (such as licenses and all the badges the player has earned so far). That image could then be used for example as signature on all the different forums the player is registered. Just as you can get them for your Battlefield2 character.

Reasons for that:
+ would be a good advertisement for the game itself
+ I love to boast with things I've earned ;)

In-game character info is not mapped to your forum account info. You'd have to constantly select wich char info to use. Besides, many have multiple forum accounts for RP purposes (or the trolls).

I think mr poo wants to use it for places other than VO. A player could easily go into "Your Stats" and choose which player they wanted the html generated for, and then paste that into wherever they wanted it, making the multiple characters per account argument moot.

It's not a bad idea. Although we're so behind on this sort of web stuff, that it would probably be quite awhile.

and there should be and option to have it turned off because manypeople on the forums dont like this idea

Spidey, the idea is to be able to use this elsewhere. I'm reasonably sure that Incarnate agrees that having sigs like that on this forum would be... obnoxious to say the least...

Thanks to those of you who understood my idea. There's NO USE for smth. like this IN THESE FORUMS - but probably anywhere else, that's why I wrote it'd be good advertisement for the game.
I fully understand that this is not "priority 1" but it'd be cool to have that in maybe (half) a year.

ignore the trolls
in the meantime, do a screenshot / screengrab / dump on your K character screen to get your badges. You also have a full collection of badges on www.vo-wiki.com (not many user pages there though). And then scale it down, smaller than theWauz one. maybe 30 x 300, depending on the forum.

see rogelazer i told you that most of the people who use the forums and dont play the game- mostly vets

would hate this idea :P
