Shouldn't hive hunt give you at least a very slight faction boost from ALL factions in the system, since killing the hive helps them all?

I'm not asking to gain 50 faction points per Orun Collector, but perhaps the normal faction gain at whatever station you take it at and 1/2 or 1/4 at the other factions in system.

Also why aren't the missions available from all stations in system? it's just Sedina and Latos you can do hive hunt in right?

Not really ... in fact Serco would actually want Itani space to have more Hive bots ... so in fact, hunting Hive in Itani space is doing Serco an disservice.

That's not what he means, Jack. LNH is referring to doing hive hunt in gray space, for example in Sedina. Killing hive bots in Sedina would theoretically benefit both the Xang Xi stations (L2 and K13) AND the Corvus one (D14), so he's suggesting that you get standing both for Xang Xi and Corvus. I agree, given the (suggested) condition that the XP you get from non-mission-giving factions is less than from the mission-giving faction.

yea jack your point is valid, but somewhat off topic. i said all the factions in the SYSTEM, as in xang xi and corvus in sedina, or orion xang xi and tpg in latos.

I guess it could also work in uit space if hive hunt ever makes it over there, hive hun in dau then would benefit uit, tpg, orion, biocom, and axia. (there might be a valent station there too)

though what you said does give me another idea, counter hive hunt, go kill competeting faction's hive hunting ships. probably only worth while for serco vs itani, the rest of the factions all deal with eachother.

If xx can tell when I kill bots when taking their missions. then Corvus would be able to tell too. It's likely that people who can build faster than light ships and all kinds of fancy weapons know how to build communications technology.
