In system jumps 25%, where is the rest of my power?
In system jumps require 25% power to jump. When I jump in system why don’t I have the remainder of my power left? If I have a full bar, can’t you set it so it only takes 25% of that after the jump.
It would be nice to jump into a sector and be ready to run or fight right away.

There is a good reason why in-system jumps deplete your power cell, and that is because you could jump again right away, wihtout having to wait. This would make it even harder to pursue people than it already is.
Whiny guilds with whiny people whined when one guy annoyed the hell out of them. So they quit the game in whiny protest and now we have the annoying power requirement because of whiny whiners.
Sounds to me like you're being a whiny whiner whining about whiny whiners whining.
Recursion: see recursion.
What Toshiro said.
If you really want to throw off a pursuer just chart a series of jumps into empty sectors. You can be in and out in rapid sucession before anyone knows what happened. Just make sure you only jump over empty sectors so a storm doesn't spoil your getaway.

I whine because apparently it works!
Actually a simple jump timeout - during which you're prevented from re-jumping, exactly like the wh timeout that prevents you to back-jump as soon as you enter a system - would solve it all.
Would give Paully6 the 75% energy to start firing and boosting, and would prevent "insta-flee" by runaway pilots. ~2 seconds is what it takes for a FC to replenish for a new jump. Raise it to 3, and getaways are even harder - and funnier - to perform.
And make DR all more interesting. :)

More so, a timer might make the advantage runners with the FC powercell have not so much over that of the Heavy. In fact, if it were atleast 3 seconds, then after a series of successive jumps the Heavy powercell might actually have the advantage.
Good idea, Syylk.
SMM, you mean an UC powercell? Because there's no way that an HC can outperform a FC in a DR. OMG, FTW and TLA!
how bout make it 5 seconds wait to jump to a sector after exexcuting a jump but you keep your energy
The system works fine as it is now. Personally, I think it worked fine before the changes to make it as it is now. I stand by the "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" saying and request that it be left alone.
I'm also sure that someone here has a good reason like: stored electrical energy is the only source of resistance during a jump. It only takes 25% of your maximum stored energy to open a in-system worm hole. The rest of the energy is dumped to lower resistance.
But then the question arises... why 25% of maximum stored energy?
Answer: Hell if I know, its a game.
There, problem solved.
Edit:
Is that better toshiro?

You cannot store power 'in an electrical state'... if there was a way, we wouldn't have so much trouble.
Leave out the first two lines of your post, and you're set ;)

Getting drunk on all that wine miharu?
What wine?
I personally think the system is just fine as it is, and messing with it any more would be pointless and stupid.

I think the fact that few people ever use anything besides the FC/UC powercells leaves something to be desired.
