New Billing Option?
The Idea:
Have an alternative billing option which lets a user buy a certain number of hours to play. So calculate the average amount of time the active user play per month and offer that many hours for sale as opposed to paying on a month to month rate. This would allow people who can't play that frequently to open up accounts so that they can play when they do have the time and that would allow you guys to get the same amount of monetary support from that user as opposed to risk losing a member of the game entirely. They will be playing the same amount of time just not as often, which means their impact on the servers will be the same.
The reason:
I am one such busy person and there are unpredictable times of the year where it is impossible for me to do anything fun at all for weeks at a time and paying on a per month basis would be a waste of money.
However if I could buy a plan of 180 Hours (About 6 hours a day times 31 days) or 360 hours (2 months about) or 2160 hours (1 year) or 4320 hours (2 years) then I most likely would.
As of right now though I would not be able to consistently play enough for it to be worth my money. You could set up similar discount schemes for larger amounts of time. I would be willing drop some cash to support this game. Heck you could even charge more for the hourly scheme and it would still be a better use of money for some of us.
The trial is 8 hours. Why not have the billing be done the same way?
