we need something like this. have it remove the swarm effect totally, cut explosions down alot, take off the pieces of popcorn that dont do any damage, make the gauss bolt look like a white neutron (i think its white), remove the engine effect, make the giant orange deathballs a thinner wireframe (might need to make it brighter), remove the sheild effect, and remove the green/blue/white cloud caused by weapon impacts.

It'd be really nice if this was something we could toggle in combat for when the fps starts dropping into the slide show range.
