I just ran into this again. I was still in a group from a previous activity, wanted to do a trade mission and was pretty confused when the trade guild didn't show up in the mission list.

Would be nice if the list showed group missions grayed out when solo and solo missions when grouped or something like that.

Yea, it should tell you you can't do this because of this at least...
