@Shadoen: please read backstory first and then try to comment on this.
Akanese are unliked everywhere and they are the worst enemy of serco. Serco/Akanese permanent KOS status is non negotiable. Serco want to exterminate all akanese and are actively searching for their hideout. I said "hideout" because akanese system is hidden and can only be entered by akanese and their supporters. As for stronger wh protection, akanese weapons and ships... I urge you to read backstory again.

@Aleksey: you need to read the backstory again too. :)
