Maybe someone will spend some time (aprox. 1 hour) and change featured screenshots to some up to date ones, and maybe more hi-res (1024 or even 1280, not to ask for 1600)? If devs have no time tor flying to get new ones, community might put some good ones somewhere, and devs could choose a few best ones and put them on the site, hm?

I'm moving this to the "Suggestions" thread as we do not have a "Mildly Sarcastic Musings" forum.

-It would take more than an hour to get the screenshots optimized to adequately represent the game on all platforms and browsers. They're picky like that.
-Featured Screenshots are primarily a marketting tool. The game is not being actively marketted at this time. The focus is on enhancing the actual game - then advertising.
-There are still things being added, both in content and graphical tweaks that would quickly render current screenshots obsolete anyway.

Umm, I don't have any problem with using people's screenshots. I mean, the whole "featured" thing was actually to use uploaded ones. Anyway, I do have some new shots, but I'm pretty demanding about what I consider "good". I've been slowly building up a base of new shots to use to replace the old ones. I put it off for a long time because of the HUD redux. If people want to make some as well, that's cool. Worst case.. I don't use them, big deal :).

They should be 800x600x32bpp, in original PNG, all settings maxed, shaders present and 4X antialiasing. Shot composition is important. Questionable recent chat text (rude stuff, whatever) is not desired.

How do you want people to get them to you?

Also, do you prefer the "default" skin, or are we permitted to use other ones in the screenshots?

They don't get to enjoy their holidays like normal people? Give them a few (non-holiday) days to respond.
