Display mass of asteroid in scan summary
Title says it all.
Besides the mineral composition, I'd really like to know the mass of the asteroid I'm about to mine, so to have a(n eventually approximate and) relative knowledge of how long it will let me cook it profitably.
Probably best left as scan result, and not as "distant knowledge", like actually is for absolute temperature.

I would add that since different composite asteroids would have different densities, this would still leave a fair amount of estimation up to the miner, unless they wanted to take their time to actually calculate it out.
It should be a feature of the scanner, and not the mining beams, thus only readable at scanner range.

Yah this only makes sense.
I'd like to be able to see the mass of ANY object ingame, especially ships.

I think ideas like this should be part of better and better scanners. Sure, you could get your standard scanner and find out heat and composition, but you could get the fancy one with higher range and mass detection.
I like. Also another way to eyeball roids.
