EC-107 Availability
Could EC-107's possibly be made available at all Corvus stations? (And specifically at Sedina D-14, my usual home station.) It was suggested by a guide that I should give a good back-story/RP reason for this, however I'm not really much of an RP'er so I will leave that to others. However, I will say that the EC-107 is an excellent chaser and moth killer, and furthermore it IS the Hunter variant, so it seems to me that Corvus would stock them, and use them. And, I can't see any good reason why they should NOT be available at Sedina D-14.
No, no, a thousand times no. Next you'll be saying Corvus should sell the Valkyrie and Proms because, hey, it's Corvus!
but but they should... at augmented prices... around 110k for 1 valk :D and 140k for 1 prom :D
/me misses the black market (it would give a reason to the high repairprices of valks and proms in that area)

At the rate the nations are doling out Valks and Proms, I am surprised that Corvus doesn't carry them. I mean, Itan is selling Valks to serco and vice versa...
the real problem is that corvus standing is too easy to get. so now every noob and suzie-homemaker can each fly past the unbots and stop directly into the nearest corvus depot.
if the lvl requirements for corvus were higher and the cash was higher too (which it is already, kinda), corvus could be the one-stop-shop for all your black market needs again. including all ships and weapons/batts.
i would rather have the convienience of buying anything/everything than buying it early.
it's not like any of us in the real world can go out and buy a hot lambourghini or a new lung..... there is a level of experience that would be required in the "dark arts". maybe a mission that invited you to a corvus station.... kinda like that lost cargo that gives you experience points...

Um, an EC-107 only becomes available after 50 bus kills. Once I've done that, I deserve the damn ship wherever, and most certainly in D-14, the home of most of the bus wars which led to the Bus Hunter badge in the first place.
That's another good point Lecter. In my opinion all special (badge award) items should be available everywhere. We already did the work to get 'em, we shouldn't have to fly all over the place for 'em as well.
EDIT: Of course, faction specific badge awards (which, to my knowledge, we don't have currently) would not be available everywhere.
EDIT: I edit a lot... perhaps I should make sure I'm finished BEFORE I post.
EDIT: And moldy... stop trying to troll please, we have enough of those already.

couldn't access to the raptor be considered as a faction badge award item?
Sure. And as such, it's available to properly sanctioned individuals at TPG stations. And is irrelevant to this thread. Next.
I'm not trying to troll in this case. I really hate the ideas of fighting tooth and nail for 50 kills in the crappiest ship in the game just so someone else can pay 10k and buy it, even if it's only 600c for me to buy.
Umm... I was NOT suggesting that they make it available to everyone... just that they make it available for the people who have earned it at all Corvus stations. (and Sedina D-14 specifically)
Oh... OH! OH *phew* Okay, [STAMP OF APPROVAL]
You scared me there >_>;

This is basically just a bump... I know y'all are busy but this seems like an easy change to make, and I see no-one in opposition. ('Cept moldy's mistaken objection)
Any chance of it? It's not a very powerful ship, just a good one for chasing, (And really there are others just as good, I just happen to like this one) so I don't see that there'd be balance issues. It wouldn't make pirating any easier even, since the ships are easily available in those same systems, it'd just make getting one a little bit less irritating.
