I think you should get a standing bump for killing someone that is kos in the area in question. Kill some that is uit kos in uit space, get uit standing bump. etc...

Mabey even get a standing bump for tracking them down to grey and killing them. So if I kill lecter (like he would stop running that long...), then I would get a standing bump (from like 8 factions...)

The chance of you killing me is around zero (only a positive % because of the wingbug possibility), even assuming I sit perfectly still and don't fire back.

That would be cool, but a better suggestion might be an /ignore or /votemute function for the forums. I tried putting masking tape over all of Lecter's posts, but unfortunately the driver for the masking tape isn't compatible with the driver for my mouse. Go figure.

But seriously, I think something like this will probably get addressed once they (you know who), gets around to re-organizing the faction system.

I recall it used to be that you did get a standing boost for killing KOS or hated players in monitored space, but I could be incorrect.

uh .. a month or two ago I still got standing for blowing up hated players. like 10 points or so.

Alt abuse issue.

1.) Make alt KOS to nation.
2.) Step two, allow friend who needs faction to kill you (In a Bus).
3.) Profit!!!

Switch Friends and Alts, lather rinse repeat.

cool alts can be abused for tons of other things.

Want to get a new char admired by a faction. Get high level alt or player to cart stuff for you around.

Want duel standing. Duel an alt.

Want to deliver ctc cargo safely. Make a yellow alt or one of your enemies nations.

Want free pks. Make an alt.

Want to mine tons of stuff. Make ten alts and mine the same roid.

Want to blow up a levi. Make multiple alts and let them shoot away.

Want to blow up the nemesis. Make serco liked char shoot to 1% and get last hits with your serco hated char. (works with other targets too but that thing is the most practical)
