More colonist activity

Ever wondered...........IF WE EVER GOT TO KNOW THE COLINISTS.

lol anyways, ive noticed that through my first paying month of playing (pretty good pilot so far) that i noticed that i havnt noticed many colonists rummaging around.

Of course theres the occasional convoys lurking around carrying cargo and all. But seriously, is space just filled with statiosn that people call 'Home'. be nice to see other types of transports transporting new colonists to a planet that they wanted to visit, basically known as tourists. Also through all the profiting of selling ores and foods to stations what do the colonized planets get.

What im saying is that make the systems with key planets like SolII with some more colonist activity. its as if they arrived at the planet and locked people form ever getting out. i dont expect much people to agree with me in colonist activity, But this just popped into my head and i decided what the hell ill post it.

Supporters would be great, and if you feel like you agree but want a few of the thoughts here alittle tweaked feel free to do so and post it here.

Could you be a bit more specific in what exactly you'd like to see?

Actually landing on planets is a long ways off. Are there things that could be done withing the existing mechanics of the game that would be satisfactory?

Hum, it would be fun to transport tourists as a "cargo" hehehe. We could introduce passenger varients of ships.

To spice it up a bit, we could make it so that passengers have demands (like visiting systems a,b and c) and would dislike being shot at :D. If you do everything well they pay you a lot. If not they pay you little. If they annoy you you can jettison them into space!!!!!

Passenger ships are a good idea and not impossible to implement with the current game mechanics. As for colonizing new places, that'll come when the universe is ready to expand.

What we really need is a bunch of people floating around in space suits, that we get to run over. A mission could give you a prize for running over the most space-suited floating guys in a certain amount of time. Also, even though there's no sound in space, I think you should hear a scream and a satisfying crunch when you run them over.

Heh

Passenger ships that can be equipped with different kinds of living quarters to take different kinds of customers would be interesting. It would only be applicable to capital ships though, since they are big enough. Seeing a human transport ship introduced into game would be good... also leisure cruise ship of some sort, like an ocean liner, but in space.

And Actually a very good idea. This game must offer something else a part combat. I like combat, and I can understand the pvp freaks that want just combat. But I get bored of blowing stuff up (and getting blow up). I want some other stuff to do.

Hey! What if there was, like, trading and mining? That would be cool.
