Upset Corvus? Oh my when did the Union become carebears.
RP reason is as follows:
If you associaate yourself with a pro piracy organization, such as the Corvus Syndicate, why should TPG repair your illegal ship which was bought from a "corporation" which sells those ships just as much to the pirates as to "immoral" people who don't want to work for it.
At the present moment, almost EVERYONE (And I do not exaggerate) associates themself with Corvus. Why? No faction loss if you kill in their space, no way to ever be hated by them, you can get almost any gun and ship there... there needs to be *A* downside to Corvus. And that downside is that goody two shoes Corps like TPG would sneer and spit at you, telling you to get the hell out of their docking bay before they confiscate your ship, let alone ask for repairs.

Greedy UIT moneygrabbers accept bribes. They would sell their mother to slavery for a good price. :)
Bribing a TPG dockmaster should not be a problem.

What a low opinion of the Union :(
Well said, bojan.
Antz: Station owners will be able to set the level requirements for items? I do hope that won't be the case to the extreme. Or, then they should be shunned by 'honest' folk, and have much the same rep as Corvus does, with flocks of unbots at the wormholes of the system (to deter traders).

I would dare say expand this to cover the Corvus Marauder and the Corvus Vulturius. Both are illegal mods of the UIT and Seco designs, respectively.
I am bumping this because, even in today's world, there are serial numbers. If one is there and invalid, it can show up as stolen. if it's scratched out, people get shaky about it.
Also, when there is a bigger influx of players, as there is recently, the best thing to do is promote grey space as "the fourth nation but without laws". Less to hear about new players needing help because they got into Sedina but can't get out with their goodies. :/
