Odd. I found the green flash from betas easier on the eyes on generally made the fact I was getting hit register quicker.
Also the new station menu is less intuitive for me. When I started (in june) it took me about 2-3 days to get used to the menus. I have been using the new ones for a week now and I still get lost. It's a bit maze like... arguably I have uni now so I play less but still.
(I know I am not very helpfull because I am not pinpointing exactly what is my problem, it's just that the whole menu seems to be more complicated than what it used to be)

Yeah. I'm reorganizing a lot of things because I forsee another 30 or 40 interfaces becoming required over the next year, and I would like to add them in without completely restructuring what's already there. Whereas, with the previous layout, restructuring would have been required for nearly every addition. Or we would have run out of interface room quickly.
So it is a bit more mazelike than it was previously (since there's one, or sometimes two more layers of tabs), but in the long run it should end up being better.. especially if we won't have to redo the new tutorial every time we add something.

An idea just popped into my head:
The weapon groups highlight the weapons in the HUD that they access. That is great and all, but if one hasn't logged in for some time and doesn't quite remember his setups on ships with more than 2 ports (like me), it's not entirely clear what button does what.
Would it be possible to colour-code them? E.g.: R: MB1, G: MB2, B: MB3, or something (default doesn't really matter that much since it'll be changeable anyway, one way or another).

Aswell here just popping in idea:
New songs for in the ingame(I am slightly getting crazy of the repeating song :|)

Very expensive... you can just turn it off and/or load your own music. Although I forget how that worked, I'm sure dozens other players can list the commands by heart.
oh please do!
geez... it's not like it's hard to fire up iTunes (or whatever) in the background.
the vo music is... entertaining and gets you in the mood for various sectors but is not meant to be your every day juke box.

Step 1: Pick a bunch of songs you want to listen to while playing VO.
Step 2: Find a codec converter that allows you to convert your music to Ogg Vorbis (.ogg) format. A good list can be found here.
Step 3: Put all of these .ogg files in a single place.
Step 4: (optional) Make playlists of the oggs so you can play entire albums rather than individual songs.
Step 5: In VO, type /playmusic [filename] where [filename] is the absolute path to a single .ogg file. If the .ogg is contained somewhere in the VO directory, relative paths work as well. If you made playlists, type /playlist [filename] where [filename] is the absolute path to the playlist file. Again, if the playlist file is somewhere in the VO directory, you may use a relative path.

On Welcome Screen we have buttons "Unload & sell", "Unload & sell all", "Unload"; but we have no option to Unload all.
Suggestion: replace "Unload & sell all" with "Select all"

I second Aleksey. There should be a way to Unload All more quickly.
I third(?) Aleksey, that is the reason why I use the old interface when I trade.
As it's a given, that if you sell, it must be unloaded, i'd suggest Sell, Sell All, Unload, Unload All
About targetting capital ships:
As it is now, you can target capital ships OR you can target their turrets.
I'm aware that apparently turrets are being handled like ships attached to other ships. But would it be possible to have sub-targets? I.e., I target a capital ship and can then, using a different key, switch the 'target focus', so to speak, to different turrets, while the capship as a whole remains targetted.

that'd require even more UI fixes... >_<
The buy ship button is hidden in a corner now, and I never fail to flick the buy preset 1 button first, because it's right where the buy ship button should be. Please put it back.
Also, a drop down menu for presets that can be labeled would be PAWSOME.

This probably goes well beyond the quick fixes you're looking for by Friday, but I think the Mission Notes would be much more useful if they were somehow accessible from any part of the interface.
For example, we have a handy Commerce->Welcome screen which lists trade items that a station desires. I'd love to be able to open up my Mission Notes and make note of them without having to flip back and forth between two different parts of the interface.

I second Tumble's request for the buy ship button to be moved back. I've been making the same mistake.
I second Strat for seconding Tumble
Yes. Although that, too, is a matter of getting used to it. Change will keep your brain fit.
Anyway, the turret/capship targetting is really bugging me.
If subtargetting is not possible, would it be possible to make the initial focus go to the entire capital ship, and only afterwards lock on turrets? Because mostly, I don't want to target turrets, I want to target the capital ship, be it to gauge the armor, or later on, to see who's in it; because logically, the turrets would have to show the players sitting in them, in my opinion. That would also allow for quick decisions on what turret to attack, since the unmanned ones would still carry the name of the capital ship.
