Founder tag.
Blackhalk/Marksman here...
I was wondering if the idea was ever put forth for a "Guild Founder" tag... sort of a thing to tell folks who check or join a guild who founded it in the first place, even if they're long gone from the game :)
It'd be nice to see, though I don't know how hard/easy it would be to put in!

what if you are one to abuse the guild system?
how far back should this record? and what is the real significance? obviously, the recognition.... but to be honest, a guild founder who is no longer associated with said guild is mockable.

I think the assumption is that said founder is still in the guild, and that said guild still exists.
Maybe if it simply mentioned in the player guilds site who founded the guild and who is currently in charge (make it a bit clearer with some of them), that would be sufficient.
If someone were one to abuse the guild system, the community of this game is small enough for that to be reported without much issue...
And if the founder disaffiliated themselves from the guild, they would still be said guild's founder, would they not?
I'm just putting the idea on the table, no worries here!

/me would very much like a "Founder and Lt/CO of ISP" and "Founder and CO of IA" badge
Man, if you really need an ego-stroker, go put it up on your Guild site.
What Guilds REALLY need ingame is the ability to tell you when a guildmate logs on, so you don't have to use the buddy list for it.

There you go, jexkerome - not that is a suggestion! Maybe just pipe the guild sign/log-in/off notifictions into guild chat?
