Purchaseable Cap Ships
Why no amke capships purchaseable? If they could, small transport businesses like my charcters, Admiral Transport Inc. could do a lot more. This would also make pking in B-8 a lot more fun with a bunch of cap ships flying around.

where would you park one? how much should one be charged for such a beneficial ship?
unfortunately these two questions are somewhat liked. high cost of this ship -over- sitting duck when i'm not online.... i don't know.
is it really worth it?
as a guild ship where there would be someone to guard the ship/use the ship while other's are offline? -- yes.
personal usage? -- no.

While the "parking" issue remains vis a vis repairs (Which really need to require a special Cap Repair Yard Station, found only in a few key systems, so there's a way to kill the damn things if they try and run) and unloading, the idea that "caps have to be defended while off-line" is bunk.
Why would you have to leave the thing parked? For both defense and immersive reasons, a PC Controlled Cap would be left cruising at some speed, on autopilot, when a player logs out from the Cap. While it could still, in theory, be attacked... finding it and then taking it down would be next to impossible.
Alternatively, when I log out in space now, my ship goes *poof* along with me. Why should a cap be any different?
