mini games
i think it would be fun to have casinos in some commercial stations or be able to bet on the deneb run and stuff. or those guys on the street with the playing cards and you have to pick the ace

Oh and defenetly minigames inside he trident frigates (and any other you can dock with). At least then your 30 minutes escort mission won't be as boring.

Anyway, an in-station casino would be AWESOME, and possibly an important source of revenue. I could also see not having them in Sserco or Itani territory, hehe.

Not sure if this falls under the same vein, but I've always thought having an observatory deck at the station would be cool. It could sort of be like a mini distraction if not a mini game.
Maybe give it a graduated zoom with a scanner and make it a job to scan incoming cargo vessels before they dock or something.

Observation dome sounds great. Just being able to minimize the station interface and watch the station from the outside would aslo be cool.
About mini-games, I think a casino would be fun, but please make the games some sort of futuristic spin-off and not a direct copy of video poker...
A game I'd like to see is something like "Pack the moth" where different cu-size items have to be packed into a 120cu space. A sort of mix between "Tetris" and "Rush hour"
Mabe make the moth take a 140cu if you pack it really well, and make manual packing an optional feature? ^.^

Great. Other wonderful distractions for the devs. After all, this game is not in dire need of content, and the team is overstaffed anyway - look how quickly and reliably they implement critical stuff! "Station casino" should score high in their todo list! </sarcasm>

Yes, because adding suggestions will definitely cause a negative impact on the team's progress.
And as bean pointed out, the reason this thread was suddenly brought up after a year is for the observation domes, which seem as easy to throw in as adding turrets without guns on stations.

Hmmm and to add to that. With the up and coming Economy where you will be, eventual, able to buy/build ur own station im sure you would want to defend it. so having turrets would be a good addition.
