Station Proximity Limits Linked to Faction
Simple idea... its obvious that different nav routes lead to different distances to important objects in said jumped-into-sector.
So... in sectors that have stations, base it upon faction. POS would jump in almost right next to the station... admired... 500 metres out... neutral 1k... hated (well, I would warp hated people inside an asteroid, but...)
It would be easily rationalized and add some cool stuff to gameplay (soon as the faction system is fixed of course). I mean, we're talking how far into the future? And we still can't control how close people can jump to our stations? Yaaaaaaaaahhhh.... right.

Woo. More spam and run that cannot be chased!
Sure you can control where you jump into a sector from. Change the route you take to enter it. It'll put you closer/farther from your intended point, as well as on a different vector to that point.
Example: Deneb I-12. If I jump directly from O-3, I am put on a direct course for a docking bay, pointed in the right direction, often pointed INTO the dock itself.
If I enter from say, B-12 or K-5, the orientation is different--I might jump in "below" the station and not pointed at a docking bay.
