I haven't seen the ship ingame yet (as in played with it), so maybe this is the PERFECT name for it, but from what I know "Constellation" seems to have enterred cliche land as an individual name for a ship, like what the name "Millenium Falcon" is. Any chance of getting something more fitting/original?

Smit: It does NOT look or behave like a 'constellation', so yea, no good there either.

Right, Pixelcat had my point, it's just a cliche name, and unless it fits PERFECTLY (which Cunjo rudely pointed out that it doesn't), the devs should consider a name change.

atleast it is better than Star trek's constellation class. It was a hockey puck with 4 engines! Personally I think Behemoth is a more fitting name for this new ship than the dinky bath tub ship we currently have

It's not a warship, it's a freighter. It moves items from point A to point B.

Yeah, heavy transport. Constellation sounds too classy and airy; it needs a solid, strong name that speaks of hard work and stoicity (is that even a word?). "Reliant" is a bit weak and also cliche, "Goliath" and "Juggernaut" confer the sense of strength but are names for warships (and Goliath's already ingame) so maybe "Colossus" or "Titan".

How about the "Iron Maiden." Course if you're going for an appropriately long name for a large ship, then you can't go wrong with the "TPG Antidisestablishmentarism"
