Ok it's really annoying when someone takes the flag just to prevent a team from capping and just goes as far out as they can staying in the home sector. How hard would it be to make it so if a flag carrier spends over 10min in one sector they lose the flag?

havent had this prob does it just mean the other team cant pick it up??

Yeah... I suggested a 5 or 10-min timer for the capturing team to be required to take the flag out of the nation home sector by that time. If it isn't... it would be automatically returned. But then again the enemy will just space out in another sector. Luckily with the bigger sectors now, it's hard to tell where the edge of the sector is (for the flag distance limit). The moment they touch that edge, that flag is returning instantly. Also remember that CTF won't be available in final form. Don't be too concerned about it.

Ya I know this isn't a big problem because CTF will be going away. Rich, if you team doesn't have its own flag you can't capture other teams flags. I know this isn't going to get much attention because it doesn't concern the final game but if some quick patch could be thrown on that would be great.
