Capital Ship AI
Right now, capital ships seem to be using the same AI as normal bots. That is, their goal is to point straight at you and try to hit you. The problem is that capship turrets aren't necessarily concentrated in the front. Teradons have turrets on the sides, but not the nose. I think that the capship AI should be modified so that it knows where the turrets are on the ship, and will rotate to bring those to bear. That means that you'll actually get broadsides when two capships face off, instead of the capships going nose to nose. This also means that capship pilot AI will know when it's lost a turret (or 10), and will rotate so that the remaining turrets are brought to bear. Logical, no?
i've been saying this for as long as i can remember.
additionaly cap ships should try to manuver such that they can fire on the bow or stern of their oponents.
thus a cap ships prefered mode of attack is to match it's broadside against it's enemy's bow or stern turrets. thus maximising it's firepower while minimising it's oponents.

indeed. actually teradons seem to be heavily armed from all angles, either with cap guass, cap agt, cap nuets and those uber cap snowball things. but their goal should be to outflank other capital ships not ram into eachother and see who dies from collision first
