It'd be really cool if you could give a name to you ship presets. It's annoying to set a couple preset ships up, then not remember which is which. Kind of simple, but as a convienence thing, it would be pretty useful.

and might I also suggest, that the preset be a selectable ship in the buy tab of the station, that when SELECTED shows the ship and information like any other ship in the select tab, and is only purchased when you click the button to do so (so you can review your presets without buying them)
