The AI toned down for Newbies would be so good for me for that I AM a newbie. I just got this game 3 days ago and now I am totaly confused. My internet connection is 56k which is probably the worst source to play this game with.

So please turn down the hardness of those buggers please!!!

erm... What bots are you attacking? if you are a newbie, stay in your homesector with a bus until you can take out a couple of 75 bots, and preferrably a 150 bot or two as well before you have to repair.. that will gain you enough flying skill to avoid them if you get snug up by bots.

the most important thing about bots is to let them chase.. Dont get into fights in your ship unless you know you can beat all the bots in the vicinity without rearming and repairing.


The problem I see with most people is that they get sidetracked and killed. Dont stop to dogfight, aim for the wormhole, space, rotate slowly, (press A and tap Q while turboing towards the wormhole) and they miss and end up behind you.

i dont know i told sum1 i know to get this game a i been tellin him about lockin on and A and Q etc but he is just keeps gettin killed by the bots. i dunno wat to realy tell him 2 do.

try to let him switch between turning and strafing, so strafe turn left , then strafe turn right and repeat, untill you are satisfied :D
