I suggest a prize bank command where a person can place credits (like givemoney) to be paid out as prizes. This bank would provide interest at a set rate to support community event prizes. Effectively there would be 2 commands /prizebank "Deposit" credits

and /prizebank award "player name" credits

In my concept, the money would be owned by a guild - that way multiple people can be in charge of it. I would suggest a Deposit of 100,000,000 would pay out 1,000,000 per week - allowing for one event every one or two weeks.

Any member of a guild should be able to deposit, but only commander or lieutenant can award.

As I write this I realize there are a number of issues with this. So it probably won't go anywhere. But maybe there are some other ideas?
