"Storyline" Missions
Here's yet another idea to add to the imersion of Vo:
Make a series of about 15 or so missions per nation that helps a newbie level up to be ready for pvp and such.
Quick ideas for the storyline:
Itani/Serco: The war is intensifying and your country needs you to help in the war effort. At first you're asked to keep the hive off of the fleets as they go to war, but once you get a better ship you begin to head out as a part of the fleet.
UIT: As the war is intensifying, your nation sees an opportunity to get rich off of the war effort. You are asked to fly trade missions and smuggle items to the border.
Between each mission the story will be reinforced by events such as a datapad being captured by the enemy that you need to get back, or you are caught behind enemy lines and need to break through the defenses.
Also, the missions could require Serco, Itani, and UIT players to be participating at the same time, giving newer players valuable pvp experience in a nicer, more level environment. (Instead of finding a mentor out in grey and risking being caught completely defensless) Note: Earlier multi nation missions would be available only to newbies once, so that players that have much more experience couldn't come and dominate the missions.
Yeah, just a thought, but it would be great to see it in the gameplay :)
