An automated group mission setup in the missions tab would be sweet.
*Note my six months comment was a personal guess nothing more*
Uh, with 750 something right now, thats about 7500 in revenue per month, so the Devs are pulling in an estimate of 90,000 per year, small but enough for tfour people to live off, in fact its not much less than a EA developers salary... IE some reports came out about ENB devs being paid on 25k per year
wow.
I wonder how much it costs to have a T1 line.
Inc doesn't take a cut at all so I hear.

Chikira, your math is if off. There is rent on the office, unemployment insurance, utilites and internet connections, and a myriad of other expenses.Guild isn't making a living wage for anyone; there are no benefits and in the real world healthcare and retirement are VERY important.
Ray would make more each year working full time as a cashier at McDonalds AND he'd get benefits.
That 25k a year sounds really low unless they were outsourcing the programming to India or using only interns. I have a brother who is also in the gaming industry and as a junior programmer he made over 55K plus benefits, extremely good benefits, at his job in Chicago. He recently moved to a different game company and got a nice sized raise as a junior programmer. My brother and I have talked about Ray's salary and with Ray's experience he would probably be classified as a senior programmer with a starting salary in the 65-85k range.
The way Ray and I manage to keep out of debt is that I work double shifts twice a week and I pick up side jobs when possible. My co-workers think I'm crazy becuase I work so hard for Ray to earn so little. Many would have told their husbands long ago to find a better paying job.
I have considered giving Ray an ultimatium about working at Guild but I haven't because the devs are all brilliant programmers who are passionate about what they are doing. Everyone should be so lucky; to have a job where you love to go to work each and every day. I see pleanty of people who are unhappy with thier jobs. So for my husband's well being I work overtime each week.

Sarah already hit the nail on the head, but I'm gonna say it anyway.
EA developers don't pay for the company's operating expense. Their salary is TAKE-HOME PAY, which they recieve FROM THE COMPANY. the Guild devs ARE THE COMPANY. Housing and Operating the VO servers alone is a huge expense, and that's really only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to running a business.
EA doesn't run on 90k a year. It would be difficult for ANY company to run on 90k/year gross revenue.
