Nice lightning effect on the planet Chikira, defenetely adds a lot to visual quallity for the game if it where implemented. Now imagine this effect together with bigger planets, wow!

for another reference, check out X3 (www.egosoft.com). Shitty game (well, sometimes) but great graphics.

The Issue is also the actual textures on the planets, most are ok, however some earth-like planets really dont look good, even with graphics at maximum.

IT would be nice to have Inc or another dev go in and rework the textures, give the clouds shadows, and overall just get rid of the pixelatedness the earth like planets have.
