Combatxp
Heya, me and my lousy annoying suggestions again.
I was wondering if the combat rewards could be changed a little bit. Seeing as for the moment there is no use for fighting the bots in between tycorps and prossuses seeing as the total hull on the guardians and other bots make them so totally unworthy for botting them seeing that in general they take longer to take down then a respective assault bot.
So i was wondering what you would think about implimenting some difference in xpreward, firstly by upping the xp reward of guardians and secondly by changing a fraction of this xp into combatxp. Somewhere around 10 - 20% of the normal reward. meaning if they hand out 1k xp, it would become like 800 weaponxp and 200 combatxp. It would still not be the best way to make them worth botting, but at least it would make people have options in stead of keeping on botting prosusses or valents to max out their combatxp rewards while getting redicolous weaponxp numbers in comparison to that combat xp number.

Yeah... it really makes no sense that taking out the more heavily armed bots does less for you than killing the ones that are just plain easier to pop.
Yea.
Id have to say pretty much any kill should reward you with some level of combat experience. For example killing a hive queen currently ges me around 1250 light weapons experience, now since a queen is so large and ment to be somewhat difficult to take down, would it not make sense that you would be more experienced after taking one down?
I've been wanting something like this to happen for a very long time.
I agree with what Renegade says, but for the larger Drones (Queens and Levi) I'd wait until the Hive testing is done.
Every bot should have a cxp reward and a light/heavyxp reward. PER KILL, not for a series of kills, and should be slightly less then currect rewards since you will be getting more xp per kill. The increasing the number of kills every license level is just rediculous. If your going to increase anything it should be the amount of xp needed for the next license.
I agree the guardians should be worth more than most assaults, I don't know about making them give combat piloting xp though... what makes guardians so special?
What makes ANY bot so special for that matter? Either EVERYTHING should offer xp or nothing should. The tougher/longer it takes to kill the more it should be worth. SO, if a guardian takes twice as long as an assault it should be at least equal if not more valuable in combat xp then an assualt.
The reason why i wanted to give them combatxp was because they take a considerable longer time to bot for. Secondly to differentiate the progress in botting in such a way that people can choose for the fixed x combatxp scheme or the slightly more difficult types but with avariable combarxp part.
Besides i haven't really noticed any sector with only guardians (helmans for instance). And in my opinion, if you can avoid some of the other bots while killing the helmans or some of the other guardians then you are learning how to be combattive.

Agreed. :)

I agree. Takes forever for a low person to have to bot so much for just 300 combat xp (well, adv. combat that is).
Just for 300 combat xp? Why you fighting Valents, fight Prosus (500cxp). I actually like how the Sedina hive gives out xp, though I'm not fully sure how that system works yet, or if it's just the same but you don't need a mission.
