how come all the station guards are male?

how can you tell?
i mean i generaly assume all player characters who's names aren't obviously feminin to be male (unless they fly a pink ship or i hapen to know otherwise) but that's just because of the steriotype that most gamers are male. but i always assumed NPC's were roughly a 50-50 split gender wise.

Some NPCs have clearly feminine names (if judging by an occidental language standard).

I'm with ananzi. If we add female guards, we can talk down to them and put them in their place!
