There should be a chat system that you can bring up outside of the game. One that links to or reads the games current chat lines.

in irc, go to irc.slashnet.org and see channel #vrelay. Note.... you will need to register a screenname with slashnet. And you will also probably see me idle. But yea... there you go :)
