Hey there's a throttle on a joystick that you can set in the joystick options. The only problem I have with this is flight assistant is really bad for combat and so I don't use it. The throttle axis only works in flight assistant. Could there be an option added to be able to turn this on and off? Or is there already a way to change this?

In Controls, set the throttle to Accel.

I think I tried that, rouge, and if I remmeber correctly, it didn't work...

perhaps we could have the F/A toggle changed to also toggle throttle modes?

You won't have to hold down your throttle keys to achieve consistant lateral acceleration. Just tap once whichever way you want to go.
