Ice Fields
How about an interconnecting bunch of sytems right in the middle of the VO universe, these sytems would have wormholes that exit out in a system of each nation, Deneb (Itani), Pyronis (Serco), Dau (UIT). But most importantly these sytems in the middle wouldnt have any stations, and they would be practicly made of ice, riods and debri all moving around.Not evan the hive has paid any attention there but it is rich in minerals and wrekkages.It would also have any amount of hiding places so if your on the run you might want to hide there.And finaly its in the middle of a blue nebula so theres a sort of mist wherever you go.
Since theres debri everywhere, to move to a neghbouring sector you punch in your destination only you have to do it sector by sector to get to the next system.and you would have a marker like in an ion storm.the systems would also be smaller than normal.

Okay, explain to us why the Hive, who's main draive is to aquire minerals to replicate itself, would ignore an entire system filled with resources?
Not to mention Itani and Serco using it as inroads to each other.

a) Moving roids have been discussed to death, and if it ever happens, it's a long way away
b) I don't really see the point of interconnecting Itani, UIT, Serco space... we already have enough borders to defend, let alone having one that goes right into our capital systems.
c) Hive stuff... not even getting into that
d) Nebulae... discussed to death... eyecandy.
e) System to system in one hop? Maybe you missed Alpha, but that universe is long gone.

My suggestion to you.. wait until the universe becomes explorable and expandable... I think if you mix that up with some new eye candy for new systems, you'll get what you want and more. For now, let's let the devs work on making us all less bored with CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT

Ok first the itani connection is at deneb only, second the riods aernt moving from there position there just spining (sorry my fault for not writing properly) and third the hive ignore it because its dangerous to mine there for a bot anyway because allmost all the riods are spinning (You might get the odd stronghold every now and then but the systems wont be infested.)And the itani aernt making any moves aginst serco space.(as far as I know)
